“Tourism on the Silk Road”
From November 15 to 17, 2023, the 28th International Tourism Fair TITF “Tourism on the Silk Road” will take place in Tashkent. The event is organized by the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in collaboration with the Tourism Committee, the state enterprise “National PR Center,” and the company “Team & Co Group.”
Uzbekistan Airways JSC will serve as the General Partner for TITF-2023. Traditionally, the National Exhibition Complex “Uzexpocentre” will be the venue for this prestigious fair.
The TITF, an annual tourism exhibition since 1995, is conducted with the support of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). The fair attracts hundreds of tourism industry professionals from around the world each year, promoting the international marketing of Uzbekistan’s tourism offerings and services.
After a two-year hiatus, TITF-2022 successfully returned last year. The organizers aim to build on the success of 2022 and expect professionals from the global tourism industry to attend this year.
The fair will be accompanied by comprehensive workshops, meetings, and discussion forums, offering participants a diverse program.
Prominent experts in the tourism sector, including heads of state tourism organizations, travel companies, airlines, insurers, hotels, tourism complexes, ambassadors of the Uzbekistan tourism brand, and representatives of international media such as “BBC World News,” “Lonely Planet,” and many others, have been invited to the TITF-2023 Forum.
This year, the organizers expect up to 15,000 national and international visitors. Participants will have the unique opportunity to explore new travel destinations and immerse themselves in the fascinating atmosphere, culture, and traditions of foreign countries. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to discover tourist destinations in Uzbekistan.
